Experimenting on mixed-media and photography, Jan Sunday (b. 1988) challenges the conventional understanding of the body through the distortion and deconstruction of images. Her works feature laser and film prints transfer on modified glass, mirror, and textile. Predominantly reflecting on femininity, the female body, and gender taboos, Sunday sends out unapologetic inquiries to our apprehension in dealing with unconventional truths.
