“Katag” features recent works by Khriss Bajade, Bastinuod, Mark Copino, and John Villoria. The exhibition takes its title from the Cebuano word for "what is cluttered, scattered, and disarranged" and reflects on the artists' beginnings as a collective in their former communal studio, which they fondly called "Solitaryo Cinco" in Busay. Rather than reconstructing what has disappeared, Katag turns toward what endures: the persistent ties that orient artists long after separation. These connections scatter, evolve, and find their way back along the way.
