Jan Sunday is a self-taught photo-based visual artist from Cebu City, Philippines. Most of her works are made from laser and film prints assembled, transformed, and distorted. Sometimes adding distressed mirrors and textures to further image distortion. She also extends her practice to experimental photography (light leaks and scanography) and video installation.
Her art is centered on esoteric feminine principles and metaphysics. Every set of work is an attempt at understanding this and her own place in the greater scheme.
Jan Sunday had just started to pursue art full-time in 2018 and moved to Manila where most of her exhibits are.
